Essence of President Speech Budget

 

  1. "The mutual trust, coordination and cooperation between government and citizens is an unprecedented example of the power of democracy. For this, I congratulate every health and front-line worker of the country, every countryman".
  2. "Today India has administered a record number of vaccines. Govt has brought several healthcare schemes to help citizens".
  3. "Many lives lost due to COVID19. Even in such circumstances our Centre, States, and healthcare workers worked as a team…I am thankful to them."
  4. "Due to the efforts of the Government, the country's agricultural exports have also increased to a record level. In the year 2020-21, agricultural exports registered a growth of more than 25 per cent. This export has reached about Rs.3 lakh crores".
  5. "More than 11 crore farmer families have been given one lakh eighty thousand crore rupees through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. With this investment, the agriculture sector is witnessing major changes today".
  6. "With the continuous efforts of the last few years, more than two crore pucca houses have been provided to the poor so far under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. One crore seventeen lakh houses have been sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin at a cost of about 1.5 lakh crore rupees in the last three years. The Jal Jeevan Mission, launched with the aim of providing 'Har Ghar Jal', has started bringing a big change in the lives of the people".
  7. Ram Nath Kovind also highlighted the role of women in boosting the rural economy.
  8. "The role of women in accelerating the rural economy is becoming more and more elaborate. In 2021-22, 28 lakh self-help groups have been given the assistance of Rs 65,000 crore from banks. This amount is 4 times more than in 2014-15".
  9. Kovind said the government has done away with the 'evil' triple talaq rule.
  10. "The government has started to free the society from this evil practice by declaring triple talaq a legal offence," he said.
  11. "With the policy decisions and incentives of my Government, the number of women police personnel in various police forces has more than doubled as compared to 2014".
  12. With the sustained efforts of my Government, India has once again become one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.
  13. Women empowerment is one of the high priorities of my government. While giving equal status to sons and daughters, my Government has also introduced a Bill in Parliament to increase the minimum age for marriage of women from 18 years to 21 years at par with men.
    1. The government has started 14 PLI schemes
    2. India is today the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer
    3. The govt has allocated a package for semiconductor manufacturing
    4. Rs 4,500 crore to be infused into integrated textile parks. The sale of khadi has increased three times
  14. "Since 2016, more than 60,000 start-ups set up in the country in 56 different sectors leading to 6 lakh new jobs".
  15. My Government has clubbed the functioning of individual Ministries together as prime minister's dynamic National Master Plan to give more momentum to infrastructure-development works.
  16. "In March 2014, the total length of National Highways in our country was 90 thousand kilometres, whereas today their length has increased to more than one lakh forty thousand kilometres".
  17. India's Atmanirbhar Bharat vision is being driven by fast-paced reforms
  18. India's self-reliance in defence production is increasing; Make in India is given a priority in defence procurement.
  19. As many as 209 defence items will not be imported from abroad and will be manufactured in India.
  20. We have done significant work to provide transport facilities to the poor and middle class.
  21. Delhi Mumbai expressway will be the longest expressway; to be completed soon. The government has approved 21 greenfield airports; the biggest airport among them would be in Greater Noida.
  22. "My Government is working with determination for the security of the country. Due to the policies of the government, the country's self-reliance in the defence sector, especially in defence production, is continuously increasing".
  23. "Contracts have been signed with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for the manufacture of 83 LCA Tejas fighter aircraft. The Government has taken significant steps to give the Ordinance Factories the form of 7 Defence PSUs".
  24. "India received $48 billion in FDI in first seven months of this fiscal; proof of investor confidence in the country".
  25. Gatishakti master plan ushering in a new era of multi-modal transport in India. India has set a target of Net Zero emissions by 2070 under its commitment to deal with climate change.
  26. Ram Nath Kovind:
    1. Several important steps have been taken to provide better education, health and employment opportunities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
    2. It is a matter of pride for the country that all the capitals of the north-eastern states are now coming on the railway map with the efforts of my government.
  27. "We saw the capability of India's youth power, in Tokyo Olympics. Giving its best-ever performance, India won seven medals. In Tokyo Paralympics too, India won 19 medals and set a record ".
  28. "To strengthen India's presence in Olympics and sports activities, central government — along with state governments — in establishing hundreds of Khelo India centres".
  29. In the year 2047, the country will complete its century of independence. We have to work hard today for the grand, modern and developed India of that time. We have to take our hard work to the peak and ensure that it ultimately yields beneficial results. We all have a partnership and equal participation.
