About the Scholarship
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract top foreign students to enroll in their masters and PhD programs.
It gives opportunity to the future foreign decision-makers of the private and public sectors, in priority areas of study, and encourages applicants from developing countries at masters level, and from developing and industrialized countries at PhD level.
Fields of Study
Eiffel scholarships are available in four main fields:
- Law Studies;
- Economics and Management;
- Engineering Sciences at Masters level, Science in a broad sense at PhD level;
- Political Sciences.

Eligibility
- Nationality: This program is reserved for non-French nationals.
- Age:
- Masters Level: 30 years
- PhD Level: 35 years
Amount of Scholarship
- Masters Level: 1,181 per month
- PhD Level: 1,400 per month
How to Apply
French Higher Education Institutions pre-select candidates for the Eiffel Scholarship among the foreign students admitted to one of their academic programs. The institutions complete and submit applications online on behalf of their candidates.
Thus, the candidates are required to apply through these institutions.
Deadline
The last date to apply for the scholarship is 11 January 2019.
