PoK's Gilgit-Baltistan Court Orders PTI Ministers to Leave the region Within 3 Days

A writ petition was filed by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) alleging that the prime minister Imran Khan and his ministers violated the electoral code of conduct by running political campaigns and making electoral promises. They asked the Election Commissioner to take immediate action in this matter.

The Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court comprising a bench of Justice Malik Haq Nawaz and Justice Ali Baig on November 6,2020 ordered the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to leave the region in the next 3 days and directed the Chief Election Commissioner of Gilgit-Baltistan Raja Shahbaz Khan, Chief Minister and Chief Secretary to execute the order immediately.
