About the Internship

The Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Tamil Nadu is keen to set up a rewarding programme to not only provide exposure for students towards this area but also to create a vigorous mechanism that will be most beneficial to a section of our society which needs grave attention.

Towards that aim, it is pleased to invite applications of committed students for an internship with the State Commissioner for the period 2019-2020.

Eligibility

The program is open for students pursuing an LL.B degree. Preference will be given to students in the 4th year and above in an integrated course and final year students in 3 years course.

A working knowledge of Tamil is preferred. The students will have to produce a passport-size photo and a recommendation/no-objection letter from their Director or Head of Department, after receiving intimation from this office.

Duration

Internships are full time and for a period of a minimum of 4 weeks to a maximum of 12 weeks. Candidates must indicate the exact dates in their application.

Certification

A certificate will be issued to the Intern at the end of his/her internship after assessment of the work done by the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities.
