Is CJI under pressure? A group of around 600 lawyers have raised concerns over perceived political pressure on the Supreme Court. In a recent interview with Lawstreet Journal, SCBA President Adish Aggarwala, one of the signatories, underlined the motivations behind the letter.

Notably, the letter targeted a section of lawyers without naming them and alleged that they defend politicians by day and then try to influence judges through the media at night.
