Legal Consultant (Grade F)
Educational Qualifications (as on 01-09-2018)
- Bachelors Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrollment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years; and
- Masters Degree / Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university.
Experience (as on 01-09-2018)
- Essential: At least fifteen years experience as an Advocate or as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a large bank/financial institution /statutory corporation or in the Legal Department of Central/State Government or as a partner in a Law firm providing legal advice.
- Desirable: Experience in Taxation laws, International laws, laws relating to Banking, Payment Systems, Forex and Cyber / IT Laws.
Consolidated Emoluments (Under revision)
- 3,00,000/- per month (without housing)
- 1,75,000/- per month (with housing)
Legal Consultant (Grade C/D)

- Essential: Bachelors Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrollment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years and

- Essential: At least Seven years experience as an Advocate or as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a large bank/financial institution/statutory corporation or in the Legal Department of Central/State Government or as a partner in a Law firm providing legal advice.
- Desirable: Experience in Taxation laws, International laws, laws relating to Banking, Payment Systems, Forex and Cyber / IT Laws.
Remuneration
Legal Consultant in Gr D (on contract basis)
- 1.35 lakh p.m.(with housing)
- 2.10 lakh p.m. (without housing)
Legal Consultant in Gr C (on contract basis)
- Rs 1.25 lakh p.m. (with housing)
- 1.80 lakh p.m. (without housing)
Nationality
A candidate must be either:-
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
