SupremeCourt hears a PIL seeking to remove AADHAAR as a mandatory document for CoWIN registration for COVID vaccination

SC: Petitioner submits that about 87 lakh people without ID cards have been vaccinated.

SC: The grievance that he was denied vaccination due to non production of aadhaar has been dealt with after Health ministry addressed a a letter to Principal Secy, Health in Maharashtra against concerned private vaccination centre despite production of passport ID

SC: Grievance of the petitioner is duly met. All concerned authorities to act in accordance with the policy of the government.
