Allahabad HC directs State to arrange separate rooms for operations of Labour Court and Industrial Tribunal within  a period of 15 days [READ ORDER]

The Allahabad High Court has directed to UP State Govt. to take steps for the arrangement of the house for the labour court and Industrial Tribunal within 15 days.

 

"In the circumstances, it is directed that the State will consider an appropriate arrangement to house the Labour Court and the Industrial Tribunal, not after some lapse of time as the Additional Chief Secretary thinks, but on a very urgent basis. Steps will be taken in this regard after due consideration and exploration by the State Government, within 15 days," the order passed by the Allahabad High Court read.

The above direction were made by the Bench of Justice J.J. Munir while dealing with the petition filed by Vashishth Rai for raising the poor condition of the Labour Court and Industrial Tribunal at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The court has granted time period of 15 days to Additional Chief Secretary, Ministry of Labour, Government of U.P. to submit report regarding the present matter.

The court has listed the present matter on 11 January, 2020 for next hearing.
