JunaAkhada Demands CBI Probe into Palghar Lynching, SC askes Maharashtra Police to Produce Charge sheets

On Thursday, August 20, for seeking justice for the two Saints who were killed in Palghar lunching, Swami AvdheshanandGiri of JunaAkhada demanded CBI investigation into the matter. The demand came after the Supreme Court allowed CBI investigation for the Sushant Singh Rajput Case. He also received support Yoga Guru Ramdev for demanding the CBI probe for the Palghar lynching incident to seek justice for the two saints.

A Public Interest Litigation was filed for the matter demanding CBI or Court-monitored Special Investigation Team (SIT) for the incident that took place in Palghar.

On June 11, Supreme Court asked Maharashtra for its response by issuing a notice, for the PIL filed, seeking CBI probe for the Palghar lynching that killed two saints.

On August 6, the Supreme court asked Maharashtra Government to produce the charge sheet filed in the FIR related to the Palghar lynching case. The order was passed by a Supreme Court bench comprising Justices Ashok Bhushan and R Subhash Reddy while hearing the petition demanded by an Advocate seeking CBI probe for the incident.

Saint Avdheshanand in his Statement said, there has been no action on the killing of sadhus in Palghar. Mob killed the innocent Sadhus with barbarity in front of the police. There is anger as justice has not been served. Like the Sushant Singh Rajput Case, CBI must probe it. This is what religious groups and devotees want. The CBI must probe it. The probe should be handed over to CBI. Many religious organizations have demanded CBI investigation into the case. Saint communities across the world demanding justice for the departed soul.

The call of millions of saints and the religious people of the country is that the CBI should impartially investigate the killing of Saints in Palghar. The country wants Justice. Saint AvdheshanandGiri wrote this on microblogging site Twitter.

The Palghar Lynching Case-

On the night of April 16, three people-two saints and a driver were going to attend a funeral traveling from Kandivali in Mumbai to Surat in Gujarat by their Maruti Eco van in the amid nationwide lockdown.

Suddenly many people came together in a village called Gadchinchile and started attacking and beating the driver and two saints barbarically inside the van and then pulled them outside the van also to beat them. They continuously attacked them until three men died. The police were present there all this happened in front of the police. The saint and driver asked the police for help also, but the Police did not do anything. No one helped them or call anyone to help them.

It is said that there was a rumor among the people that these sadhus are kidnapping children and harvesting their organs including kidneys. But no one complained about this officially, the mob itself started beating them.

The three innocent people who were killed in mob lynching were two sadhus, KalpavrikshaGiri Maharaj and Sushil Giri Maharaj and a driver Nilesh Yalgade.

To date there is no reason has been found that Why these three innocent people were killed barbarically?
