Delhi High Court to continue hearing today petition filed by AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj seeking SIT probe into attack and vandalization at official residence of Delhi CM ArvindKejriwal

Hearing commences.

Adv Sanjay Lao for DelhiPolice seeks short adjournment since their affidavit is yet to be filed.

Lao: I have been informed that 22-23 persons are already deployed at CM house. They are talking with RWA to install two gates on both sides of roads. No assembly, protests will be allowed at Civil Lines metro station.

Lao: So steps are being taken, we just need time to put in an affidavit.

Sr Adv AM Singhvi for Petitioner: At least provide us some report, otherwise how will I assist?

Sr Adv Rahul Mehra suggest that Respondents may consider imposing Section 144 around premises like Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Bench: First let us see. If we find anything lacking, we will see.

Bench extend time for DelhiPolice to file its sealed cover report. Matter to be next heard on May 30.
