New Delhi: The Acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, Justice Manmohan, on May 22, nominated judges for urgent matters during the forthcoming summer vacation between June 1 and 30.

A notification by the Delhi High Court stated that the judges will sit in court on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as well as on other days as they may see fit, starting at 10:30 am. The sittings may continue on the next succeeding day if the matters fixed for any day are not completed.
The nominated judges will sit in division benches and also singly to hear urgent civil and criminal matters, as well as other matters that may be placed before them according to the schedule of dates provided.
The court office will remain open daily from 10 am to 5:30 pm, except on the second and fourth Saturdays, Sundays, and other holidays, if any.
Suits, appeals, applications, or other proceedings that are to be filed on the reopening day may also be instituted/preferred or made in regular course between 10 am and 4 pm from Monday, June 24 to Saturday, June 29, as per the convenience of the parties. However, for the purpose of limitation, the court reopens only on July 1, the notification added.
