Delhi High Court to shortly hear appeal filed by United Against Hate member

Delhi High Court United Against Hate member

Delhi High Court to shortly hear appeal filed by United Against Hate member Khalid Saifi challenging Trial Court order denying him bail in Delhi Riots larger conspiracy case.

Saifi was denied bail by citys Karkardooma Court on April 8.

A division bench comprising of Justice Siddharth Mridul and Justice Rajnish Bhatnagar will be hearing the plea at 10:30 AM.

Hearing commences.

Senior Advocate Rebecca John appears for Khalid Saifi. Special Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad appears for the State.

Court: We will issue notice.

Court: We are hearing all these matters in seriatim. When are the other matters listed?

John: Mine is different. Let me be different even if that has to be delayed. Let those be over. Let me show I'm different.

Court: Issue notice. Mr. Prasad accepts notice on behalf of the GNCTD. List the appeal on July 11.
