Delhi State Council Election AMIGO International

The petitioners in the case of Sajal Mitra & Anr v. the Institution of Engineers and Ors, in the High Court of Delhi, challenged the election to the Delhi State Council and Delhi State Committee of the Institution of Engineers (India) (also known as IEI). The petitioners were candidates in the said election and contend that the election was vitiated by the hacking of the e-voting system.

The petitioners stated that an assessment report was submitted to IEI by AMIGO Incorporation which was entrusted with the task of investigating the online voting system by the Delhi State Chapter of IEI. The respondent accepted the assessment report indicating that urgent and important resolution of website data leakage was required. As far as the result of the election is concerned, the Delhi State Centre has sought further directions from the headquarters of IEI in Kolkata.

At the request of the respondents, a time period of three weeks has been granted for the filing of the counter affidavit, placing on record any further assessment report submitted by AMIGO as well.

The next date of hearing has been set to 17-02-2022.

AMIGO is an established name in the Cyber Security Industry, offering a large gamut of cyber security services such as Digital Forensics, Digital Investigation, Consultation Services, and Cyber Security Training.
