Madhya Pradesh High Court ordered filing of complaint against fabricated documents

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered filing of complaint against petitioner for submitting fabricated documents and making false statements in Court.

The single-judge bench of Justice Atul Sreedharan while adjudicating upon a writ petition, wherein the Petitioner was challenging the order passed by his employers, whereby his representation to condone his absence for the period from 2003 to 2006 on the grounds of serious illness and his reinstatement in service, was rejected, noted that he submitted female issues in his medical reports.

The Petitioner has submitted that he was a patient of heart disease and was taking treatment continuously from various doctors and it was due to this he was away without leave for the duration on account of which, his services were terminated by his employer. The petitioner had filed several documents relating to his alleged cardiac problem.

Several certificates and prescriptions are without the signatures of the doctors and many of the OPD tickets and treatment slips are of the Government run medical institutions.

While he stated that it is his third petition, the State brought to Court's notice that he forgot to mention one more.

The Court pointed out one medical document in particular, wherein there was mentioning of labour pains and contradicted that since petitioner is a male, it makes no sense.

In view of the above, the Court opined that the Petitioner unabashedly filed fake documents with utter disdain and disregard for the Court.
