Maharashtra's Political Crises: SC Hearing Today

Today, the Supreme Court will hear the petitions that Eknath Shinde and the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs filed to seek an effort to stop the disqualification proceedings taken by the Deputy Speaker against them.

A vacation bench comprising of Hon'ble Justices Surya Kant and JB Pardiwala will hear the applications that were filed yesterday evening.

Senior Advocate Harish Salve is expected to represent the petitioner in court. Senior Advocate Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi is anticipated to represent the State.
