Normal Functioning of the High Court to Remain Suspended till November 20, 2020: Orissa HC [READ ORDER]

Normal Functioning of the Orissa High Court will remain suspended till 20.11.2020 in view of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Orissa High Court said on Friday.

The functioning of the High Court will have to be complied with; the Fridays resolution/order stated on 21.08.2020.

The Subordinate Courts and tribunals will also function with restrictions, as issued by the High Court earlier.

The Subordinate Courts/Tribunals at places where there is no lockdown, shall as far as possible, resume normal functioning during court hours by virtual mode/ video conference.

The order also said that the High Court and its offices, subordinate courts and tribunals and their offices will remain closed on all working Saturdays in the month of October 2020.

The Delhi High Court has also decided to continue with the current hybrid model of both physical and virtual hearings. The court has decided to extend the restrictive functioning till October 08 in light of the ongoing COVID19 pandemic

Further, the Karnataka High Court has further extended the operation of all interim orders passed by it or the subordinate courts and Tribunals, that are due to expire within a span of one month, till November 29th, 2020.
