NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court Collegium has on Thursday recommended the appointment of Chief Justices of High courts of Delhi, Himachal Pradesh Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Madras and Meghalaya.
The SC Collegium recommended the appointment of Justice Manmohan as Delhi High Court Chief Justice. It also recommended the appointment of Justice Rajiv Shakdher as Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.
It also approved the appointment of Justice Suresh Kait as Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court. Similarly, Bombay High Court judge Justice K R Shriram has been recommended to be appointed as Madras High Court Chief Justice.
Justice Nitin Jamdar has been recommended to be appointed as Chief Justice of Kerala High Court. The SC Collegium recommended Justice GS Sandhawalia as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court
The Collegium also recommended the appointment of Justice Tashi Rabstan as Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court.
The Collegium recommended the transfer of Chief Justice M S Ramachandra Rao from Himachal Pradesh to Jharkhand High Court.
