SC Declines To Hear PILs Against Protesting Policemen: Tis Hazari Violence

The Supreme Court today (December 16, 2019) declined to entertain Public Interest Litigation petition for action against cops who sat on dharna at Police Headquarters, ITO following Tiz Hazari clashes with lawyers and in protest against attacks on them by advocates at various court complexes. The Apex Court said that the Delhi High Court is already dealing with the issue and all petitions pertaining to this matter shall be directed accordingly.
