State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Supreme Court

Supreme Court will hear Suo Motto case regarding delay in appointment of President and Members in District and State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

Sr Adv Gopal Sankarnaryanan: I'm one of the amicus. Please see this matter on relation to item 5

Justice Chandrachud: Registry to club proceedings for emoluments for the state and national consumer dispute commission with this position.

Justice Chandrachud: File a short affidavit for the amicus, Mr Sethi.

We request Mr Sankarnaryanan and Mr Aditya to assist us as amicus.

Justice Chandrachud: Counter affidavit to be filled in 3 weeks.

Sankarnaryanan: This is only for UP, if you are issuing notice to Uttrakhand, then all states should be served too.

Justice Chandrachud: For now only UP.
