New Delhi: On Wednesday, April 9, the Supreme Court announced that the upcoming Advocates-on-Record (AoR) examination will take place in New Delhi on June 16, 17, and 21, 2025.
Applicants can submit their forms for the AoR Exam 2025 until 5 PM on April 30, 2025.
Advocates who have completed the mandatory one-year training under a registered Advocate-on-Record by April 30, 2025, are eligible to apply for the upcoming AoR Examination.
Applications can be submitted either in person at Room No. 307, B-Block, Administrative Building Complex, or sent via email, provided that the physical documents are submitted later.
The exam will be conducted in the traditional pen-and-paper format.
This year’s notification introduces a notable one-time concession: the December 2021 AoR exam attempt will not be counted within the usual five-attempt limit. Therefore, candidates who have used all their attempts excluding December 2021 now have the opportunity for one final try.
The examination fee is ₹750 and must be paid to UCO Bank at the Supreme Court Compound.
Applicants are required to attach a recent photograph and submit a self-attested copy of their Enrolment Certificate along with the form.
