Supreme Court to hear appeal filed by West Bengal against BJP Leader Suvendu Adhikari challenging Calcutta High Court order stating there has been a failure of Police machinery.

Sr Adv Kalyan Bandopadhyay: Milords all the proceedings has been stayed, no proceedings can take place, there are several FIRs against him.

Court: You file your return before single judge.

Court: We'll give you liberty to apply for vacating the order of the single judge.

Bandopadhyay: Just a minute Milords, Investigation is stayed if anyone has committed any offence.

In another case which is the subject matter of the writ petition is also stayed.
