Supreme Court to hear a plea by Chhattisgarh IPS officer Gurjinder Pal Singh after a sedition case was filed against him under Section 124A of Indian Penal Code (IPC) based on a complaint by the Anti-corruption Bureau.

Sr Adv Kapil Sibal: Earlier i was told bail was not filed and now chargesheet stands filed

CJI: These police officers they are good with govt and when govt changes you are bound to face heat. They forget what they did

Sibal: when govt changes everything changes

CJI: Issue notice list after 4 weeks

Sibal: please list after 2 weeks

CJI: Nothing will happen in 4 weeks

Sibal: he will continue to be in jail (laughs)
