SupremeCourt is hearing a matter of a private Hajj Tour operator challenging their being allegedly blacklisted

Justices S Abdul Nazeer and PS Narasimha hearing case

Bench: Similar matters have been dismissed recently. Hajj has started. How many weeks left now?

Adv: Kindly hear me. It happened last time also.

Bench: Should have come 1 month earlier. May be considered next year.

Adv: Kindly give observation, my client is in a very poor condition. Issued show cause notice.

Bench: Very good, nothing can be done at this stage.

Bench: Should have approached us before the Ramzan month.

Adv: But where will I go for survival? Kindly think about my condition.

Bench: Wow you're asking us only questions. Similar matters have been dismissed. Might have merit but can't rework list at this stage.

J PSN: You may have merit regarding blacklisting. But grant of permissions year is over, this can't be a Article 32 plea, may be 226 later.

J Nazeer: Approach concerned authorities, liberty to move us later.

Advocate: Obliged my lords.

Background: The SupremeCourt was hearing a plea by one Al Islam Tours Corporation seeking directions to the Centre to be considered as a Private Tour operator for Hajj this year
