Telangana HC Orders Notice To Akbaruddin Owaisi In Criminal Case For Hate Speech

Justice Gandikota Sridevi of High Court of Telangana, has ordered notice to Akbaruddin Owaisi, MLA of Chandrayan Gutta A/C in a Criminal Review Case CRLRC No. 1429 of 2019 filed by Kasemshetty Karunasagar, an advocate and Hindutva activist.

The petitioner seeks the High Court to review the dismissal order passed by Special Sessions Judge, Hyderabad in bail cancellation petition, who sought dismissal of bail granted to Akbar Owaisi in hate speech in Nizamabad's case.

Deprived by the order of the Special Sessions court, Hyderabad, the petitioner approached the High Court seeking review of its order.

Today (December 13, 2019), while the review petition has come up before the court, the judge in a routine manner ordered notice to unofficial respondent, Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi.
