Supreme Court to hear a plea filed by State of Maharashtra seeking direction against the Union to provide the census data of OBCs collected by Centre in 2011-2013

The Top Court will also consider connected plea (s) challenging the ordinance promulgated by Maharashtra Government that provide for blanket 27% reservation to the category of backward classes in the local body elections.
