Advocacy Skills Workshop Adv Rajat Wadhwa

A one of a kind Advocacy Skills Workshop on Legal Research and Drafting in Criminal Matters is being organised by Adv. Rajat Wadhwa in association with Adv. Harsh Prabhakar. The workshop will take place on 31 May, 2022 from 5pm to 7 pm at B-98 Defence Colony, followed by dinner ! Interested candidates register at wadhwa_co@yahoo.co.uk

Note from Rajat Wadhwa:

Every day we find that #younglawyers, especially the first generation lawyers, express their handicap in navigating foundational aspects of advocacy such as #research and #drafting. There is unfortunately a clear hiatus between what is taught in the law school and the skill set required in the practise of law.

This issue has been flagged on many occasions in the past, however, the same remains unresolved. Bar Associations and Courts must collaborate to reduce this gap. I have undertaken a small step in this direction to organise a series of #workshops to help our young friends in further honing their skills and mentoring them in the early stages of their professional life.

Other facilities such as space for conducting conferences, E-filing and access to Research portals has already been made available, free of cost under my previous initiatives.

I encourage my young friends at the Bar to make full use of these facilities and attend the first workshop which is being organised on my Birthday, 31st May 2022.

Yours Always,

Rajat Wadhwa
