On Saturday, 27th March, 2021, the new building of Bombay High Court opened doors at Pehna De Franca, Porvorim, Goa.
Chief Justice of India, S.A. Bobde along with Union Minister for Law and Justice, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Goa Chief Minister of Goa - Pramod Savant inaugurated the new building.
5 Supreme Court Judges along with 62 judges of the Bombay High Court and its benches in Aurangabad, Nagpur attended the inauguration ceremony.
A total of nearly 500 invites were sent for this event.
Arrangements were made for the PT-PCR tests of the judges who were to return to Mumbai. Strict precautionary measures were taken to prevent the spread of Corona Virus as a result of this event.
