Former Solicitor General Of India, Dipankar Prasad Gupta Passes Away

Former Solicitor General of India Dipankar Prasad Gupta passed away on March 3, 2019.

He served as the Solicitor General of India from April 1992 to April 1997. He also served as Advocate General for the state of West Bengal.

The cremation will take place on March 4, 2019, afternoon, at 2 pm at the Electric Crematorium, Lodhi Road Delhi.

His son, Jaideep Gupta and brother, Bhaskar P. Gupta are Senior Advocates in Supreme Court of India.
