AG KK Venugopal: It is difficult to believe that Justice Vineet Saran is retiring. He looks so young.

CJI NV Ramana: All of us look young including you AG

AG: Every time a judge retires I feel the judge did not retire and had another 5 years to work. But that's not the case now. He is a Golfer. I wish he can pursue his passion.

Sr Adv Vikas Singh: No junior felt that they did not get a proper audience before Justice Saran

SCAORA President: We wish him a very happy and successful retirement. In Allahabad he was very popular among the bar

Sr Adv Pradeep Rai: I have seen Justice Vineet Saran and known him for many decades. Golf course awaits you.

CJI NV Ramana: it is very difficult for me to bid farewell to one of my close brothers. Today he demits office. He started as a lawyer in Allahabad in 1980. In 1995 he was made AAG and 2002 he became judge of Allahabad HC for 30 years and then in Karantaka and Odisha

CJI: During my recent visit to Odisha I saw how people are affectionate towards him. He was here in SC for 4 years.

CJI: He delivered number of imp arbitration judgments and was part of several Constitution benches and his judgments on consumer protection and personal liberty has far reaching impact.

CJI: His wit and humour has left indelible mark on hearts of people. He will be remembered by Bar & Bench equally.

CJI: We shall look forward to his continued cooperation with the Judiciary. I wish all his family members best of health and happiness.

Justice Vineet Saran: I have been showered with so much affection that my tenure passed in a blink of an eye. It's a sad moment for me. I hope to be again be with you in the evening.

Justice Saran: i am happy to be free now. Freedom does not mean I was captive. i am happy to have been in this court and work with wonderful members of the bar.
