Karnataka Judiciary Contributes Towards Covid-19 CM Relief Fund.

The Karnataka judiciary recently contributed an amount of Rs.3.38 crore towards the Chief Ministers Covid-19 Relief Fund in the state.

Judges of the High Court as well as the District and Taluk Judiciary and the staff working in all types of courts have combinedly contributed to provide monetary support for the Relief Fund. 

The High Court Judges have contributed Rs.11.6 lakhs, the judges in the District and Taluk Judiciary have donated Rs.1.15 crore in the form of three days salary, stated the press release issued by T.G. Shivashankare Gowda, Registrar General of the High Court.

While the High Court staff have contributed Rs.43.97 lakhs, the District and Taluk Judiciary staff have contributed Rs. 1.66 crore. 

The Judicial Department Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society Limited had contributed Rs. 1 Lakh as well, stated the release.
