NCLT Benches to Switch Back to Virtual Hearings From 12th April.

Due to a significant increase in the number of COVID-19 cases throughout the country. The National Company Law tribunal (NCLT) has decided to take up regular hearing through Video Conference.

This decision comes in rebuttal of its order dated February 23rd, for resumption of physical hearings. The tribunal has sent a notice to the benches stating the they will take up the cases through virtual mode. 

The principal bench of NCLT shall comprise of BSV Prakash Kumar (Acting President) and Hemant Kumar Sarangi (Member.)

Further Five division benches will function in the given alternate arrangement at Delhi, two division benches shall function in Chennai and five shall be functional in Mumbai (two of these will function on alternate days.)
