NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday got three new judges.
Justices N V Anjaria, Vijay Bishnoi, and A S Chandurkar were on Friday sworn in as judges of the Supreme Court.
Chief Justice of India B R Gavai administered the oath of office to three judges in SC premises.
Among the three judges, Justice Chandurkar took the oath in Hindi.

On May 29, the Union government had notified their appointments.
With the swearing it, the bench strength in the Supreme Court has been raised to 34, the sanctioned strength of the top court.
On May 26, the Supreme Court Collegium had recommended for the elevation of the three judges.

Justice Anjaria, who originally belonged to the Gujarat High Court was the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court and Justice Bishnoi from the Rajasthan High Court was the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court.
Justice Chandurkar was a judge of the Bombay High Court.
Three vacancies in the top court arose after retirement of then CJI Sanjiv Khanna, and Justices Bela M Trivedi and A S Oka earlier this month.
