Amity Law School Noida Organizes National Moot Court Competition on Competition Law in Association with CCI

Noida: Amity Law School Noida recently held a highly successful National Moot Court Competition on “Competition Law” in association with the Competition Commission of India (CCI), New Delhi. The event was a significant milestone in the academic calendar, drawing participation from law schools across the country and fostering a spirit of legal excellence and healthy competition among budding lawyers.

The prestigious competition concluded with Symbiosis School of Law, Pune, emerging as the winner. The victorious team was awarded the winner’s trophy along with a substantial cash prize. The host team from Amity Law School Noida secured the runner-up position, receiving a runner-up trophy and a cash prize.

In addition to the winner and runner-up awards, accolades were presented to the Best Speaker, Best Researcher, and Best Memorial. The total cash prizes amounted to an impressive Rs 2 Lakhs. Alongside the monetary rewards, the participants were offered valuable internship opportunities by the CCI, providing them with a unique chance to gain practical experience and insights into competition law.

The success of the event was greatly enhanced by the esteemed presence of CCI officers, including Dr. Kuldeep, Dr. Suhag, and other distinguished judges, who generously dedicated their time and expertise to evaluate the various rounds. Their involvement added immense value to the competition, and provided participants with critical feedback and guidance.

The event was meticulously organized under the leadership of Amity Law School professors, including Dr. Harshita Singh, Dr. Rupendra Singh, Dr. Gargi Bhadoria, and Dr. Meenu Sharma. Their dedication, coupled with the hard work of a team of committed students, ensured the smooth execution of the competition. Advocate Shweta Tyagi, serving as the event coordinator, played a pivotal role in orchestrating the event’s success.

The National Moot Court Competition on Competition Law was not only a platform for law students to showcase their advocacy skills but also an opportunity to engage with complex legal issues under the guidance of leading experts in the field. The event underscored Amity Law School Noida’s commitment to academic excellence and its role in nurturing the next generation of legal professionals.
