Dr. Avtar Singh, Veteran Author of Textbook on Law of Contract Passes Away

Dr. Avtar Singh, the very famous author of books on Contract Law and Company Law, passed away yesterday (Oct 01, 2018).

He was of 85 years of age. Textbooks authored by him are prescribed in many universities in India and abroad. He has also written on textbooks on Banking and Negotiable Instruments Act, Business Law, intellectual Property Law, Partnership Law and Law of Arbitration, to name a few.

His textbooks are famous for its crisp, illustrative and easily comprehensible content and are very popular among law students.
