Water scarcity in Delhi's Kusumpur Pahadi area created havoc a year ago. Long queues for water tanks, people waiting for water all day and dry taps made life difficult here. At that time, the Aam Aadmi Party was in power in the capital. Today, a year later, we visited the same place again — the situation has changed a bit, but not completely. Now the reins of Delhi are in the hands of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
So the question is, did the change in power solve the water problem? Has the government taken any concrete steps at the ground level? What does the voice of the people say?
