The High Court of Delhi today (December 19, 2019) dismissed the review plea (Criminal Review Petition 1301 of 2019) filed by Nirbhaya Case Convict, Pawan Kumar seeking to be declared a minor at the time the offence was committed in 2012. The petition referred to the rape convict as an innocent boy who was being falsely implicated by anti-social elements.
The matter was heard today by a single judge bench of the Delhi High Court comprising of Justice Suresh Kumar Kait. The court also imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000 on Advocate AP Singh who was representing the convict in the matter.
