Advocate Yukti Rathi Elected CoChairman Of Bar Council Of Delhi

New Delhi: Advocate Yukti Rathi has been elected Co-Chairman of the Bar Council of Delhi (BCD) following the 2026 BCD elections, and is described as the youngest person to hold the post.

According to the account of her election, she received 16 votes in the internal election of the Council, while her opposing member received one vote.

Ms. Rathi has also been entrusted with membership of several important committees of the Bar Council of Delhi, namely Disciplinary Committee-I, the Executive Committee and the Rules Committee. She is described as the youngest member of the Bar Council of Delhi.

Apart from her responsibilities at the Council, Ms. Rathi serves as the National Youth President of Rajneeti Ki Pathshala and as the Vice-Chairperson of the Delhi Wheelchair Committee. She continues to practise law before the Delhi High Court and various District Courts across Delhi.

Her election has been presented as an encouragement for young advocates, with the account noting that the responsibilities she now carries show that merit, determination and dedication, and not age, determine success.
